Being a teenager is all about you, for me the change of being a kid is when you start making chances for yourself and stop complaining about the ones you lost. For me the transition of me being a kid to me being a teenager was when I went and made a schedule for myself. My grades couldn't keep up because I was in a lot of extra activities, for example I was on the school soccer team, my own soccer team, air cadets and help coaching a team for volleyball. I couldn't keep up until I made the schedule, at first it was horrible doing everything on time and in order. Soon I actually enjoyed it because I got two extra hours to do anything I wanted too. That was my main transition, before I knew it I did lots of minor things like going to the things that a captain had to do like going to the tryouts to help the coach. Another large one for me was becoming a leader in cadets, before I was one of the people that just sat in the back eating now I’m helping my teachers and officers. Being a teenager is pretty fun at times you can act stupid and get away with it you just have to be smart. You can do goofy stuff just don't push it and make everybody angry. The worst part is caring about how you do in school because these five years make your entire life.

Simple tools

On a small island 3 children were playing with a few simple tools, a stick, ripped shirt and railroad tracks. As the three children were playing the oldest of them called Anderson looked into the sky and said "it's dark now lets go to home." The youngest called Kumar was a spoiled little brat and told Anderson to let them play a little longer otherwise he would call his dad. So Anderson had a little idea and told them to play tag, Kumar agreed and same did Pimento who was the a year younger then Anderson yet a year older then Kumar. They grabbed their stuff and joyfully played tag. Around 5 minutes to the home of Pimento a white van approached and an old man with a husky voice said " Pimento I was told to pick you up." all with looked uncertainty to each other scared and afraid. There was a tense second until a quick movement, Kumar started running away. The old man without saying a word pulled out a pistol and shot all 3 off the children. Anderson heard a trashing of 2 other bodies they were drugged not shot. In sheer happiness Anderson yelled, "YES", Pimento said, " What in the world is wrong with you." For 15 minutes there was an awkward silence, the van stopped and the 3 children were pulled into the warmth of the sun. A Mexican man walked up to them two of the children looked terrified the 3rd Pimento was enraged. Pimento charged up to the man and said in his firm steely voice "dad what on earth are you doing scaring my only friends." Kumar stared at both of them and blurted stupidly " you to look alike." Anderson couldn't blame him Pimento and his father both had the firm look but laugh lines, which showed that they do smile. The black haircut, which looked military, and the dark chestnut eyes. Pimento's father was about to say something until he got interrupted. Anderson's Mum was they’re rolling her eyes. Anderson knew he was in deep trouble her Mum had a list and every time she crossed a persons name off the person was missing on the news. The three kids didn't think it could get any worse until the parents asked Kumar where his parent was he replied, " I don't have one." Pimento and Anderson looked at each other Kumar was always talking about his mum and dad, if he lied it didn't make any sense. Kumar told the truth about his dad and his mum who died in a road accident. There they all stood again with the simple tools a torn shirt, sticks on the ground and broken railroad tracks.
